Negative GOP Ads (none / 0)

Today, Thom Hartman played an ant-Obama ad being run in North Carolina. It's the first ad featuring Jeremiah Wright's "God damn America" speech interlaced with something like "Is Obama who you want for President?" While I expected to see and hear ads like this, I must admit it was very unsettling. I predict it will fire up the Republican base and those susceptible to the terrorism and patriotism cards. If Obama's the nominee, what kind of counter punch can Democrats use?

Re: Negative GOP Ads (none / 0)

People who had the slightest chance of voting Obama are SO sick of the Wright nonsense. Obama has answered that charge ad nauseum.

This is mostly just GOP masturbation.

Obama counterpunch (none / 0)

Democrats can fire up their own base by replaying McBush's promise to stay in Iraq for 100 years.

In short, stop being afraid of what Republicans will do to Obama and start thinking about what Democrats are going to do to McSame.

Cowardly Fraidycrats are yesterday's Democrats.

The choice is simple: A President who voted for the worst of Bush's odius agenda, or one who didn't.
